Sophia Silvers
Schedule: Mon
Sophia has loved music ever since she could speak. Ever since she stepped into the choir room in her freshman year of high school, she knew what she wanted to do with her life. She is currently studying classical vocal performance at CSU Sacramento. Before transferring to Sacramento State in 2021, she studied music at American River College. Sophia is part of the Sacramento State Opera program, and is both the soprano section leader in University Chorale and Vice President on the Chorale Executive Board. Outside of school, Sophia sings with Camerata California and Schola Cantorum, and has previously sung with the Sacramento Master Singers. Sophia also teaches music at an after school program at Barrett Ranch Elementary. Her favorite genres of music are broadway musicals, pop and classic rock. Sophia’s other interests include spending time with her two dogs, dancing, and playing board games.
