Trumpet has been a part of Mason’s life for 10 years now and Mason has actively been performing in his community regularly for over 2 years. He has attended Sacramento State University as a Trumpet performance major and has studied under Ari Micich during that time. During his time at CSUS he was a part of 4 different ensembles a semester across all genres. As one example, Mason won the principal position in the CSUS wind ensemble and orchestra his first semester attending. Mason also has his own brass quintet called the Hornet Horns which he performs regularly with. Mason’s other passions include the outdoors, hiking and weightlifting.
