Guitar | Bass | Ukulele

Eric Kuvakos
Schedule: Wed | Fri | Sat
Eric first began playing guitar 10 years ago in his hometown of Cameron Park. In high school, he discovered his love for the instrument, and started studying Blues and Pop guitar, before adding Classical and Jazz styles. During these years, Eric began performing with the High School Jazz Ensembles, Winter Drumlines, and Pop groups, including tours in California, Minnesota, and Singapore.
After high school, Eric began teaching his first private students while studying Music Performance at American River College. It was at ARC where he first took lessons from local giants Matthew Grasso and Steve Homan, and started to create and perform with his own projects. Currently, Eric splits his time between teaching, performing locally, and finishing a Jazz Studies degree at Sac State. He loves to find out how music speaks to his students and how to best educate each individual student, while keeping fundamentals and the joy of music in mind.
