Violin

Emily Kurulenko
Schedule: Tue | Wed | Fri
Emily has always wanted to be a violinist ever since she saw a little girl playing the violin in the TV show Barney and friends. Her dreams of becoming a professional musician and teacher have only flourished from there. Emily is currently studying music education for violin and viola performance at California State University, Sacramento. Emily is part of the Sac State orchestra as the violin section leader, plays in the Phonotone Classic jazz orchestra, is the secretary and participates for Slavic Chorale, and sings with Camerata California. She also likes to continue the music teaching and progression by teaching at many summer camps. Outside of music Emily likes to hike, camp, and ski. She is adventurous, takes the fearless character and applies it to her playing and teaching. If you want any good hiking trails, Emily is the one to ask!
