Piano | Drums
Daniel Timofeyev
Schedule:
Monday | Tuesday | Thursday
Born and raised in the Sacramento Valley, Daniel knows the area like the back of his hand. Daniel has been playing drums and piano from a very young age so as a multi-instrumentalist, he is one of a kind. In high school and college, Daniel performed as the piano accompanist with the choir, dance, and theatre programs. Daniel has performed with the school percussion ensembles as well which earned him 3 state champion titles out of the 4 years he was there and now currently is on staff as the percussion director with the high school’s music department. He also has recently led the current students to another undefeated season in 2022. In addition to being a pianist, he’s performed for Green Valley Music Theater Company and is currently on contract with The McLaughlin Theater Company. Daniel had the opportunity to stand with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drumline and get personal instruction from Paul Rennick – a world-renown marching and concert percussionist. Daniel is currently finishing up at Sierra College and will be continuing his studies at the Berkeley School of Music to earn a Bachelors in Music Composition(piano emphasis) with a minor in Percussion. He also is currently a band teacher at Antelope High School. Daniel loves music and wants to teach students that music isn’t just the notes on the page but the history behind it and the rests in between.
